Don was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He studied
Business and Management at the Golden Gate University in San Francisco where he
received his BS and MA, PhD candidate. Don taught Business and
Management at Chabot Community College in Hayward, California for
twenty-five years.
Don become interested in collecting and lecturing on early Americana
(cowboy and Indian) around 1950 and has been involved in the business ever
since. His personal collection is displayed in the Frontier Montana Museum
in Deer Lodge, Montana.
In 1990 Don made a fishing trip to Montana and he's been here ever since.
